I have been waiting for pain medication for 4.5 hours. No nurse has come into the room since 5:20 AM when I asked for meds but never came back. Other than Ivy, RN, on second shift, nursing care is not a priority. During my first admission I had to go back to the hospital. I'm still missing some personal items, which haven't been returned. The facility has not shown much of an interest in locating them.

I was here for 12 days and although I got off to rough patch as soon as I spoke to Sonja the director of nursing everything got straightened out . Everyone from maintenance workers to aids & nurses were nothing short of amazing !! The physical therapy was amazing too

I was recommended this place for my husband. Well that was a mistake. Every time I went to visit the room smelled like urine. His bedding was filthy the bathroom had feces on the floor. There was trash everywhere even under his bed. If they had a 0 that's what I would rate this place. I don't recomend this place for your loved ones!!!!!.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Please do NOT ever send your loved ones to this rehab facility. My mother, who is 90, broke her hip and was sent to this facility, not our choice but the choice of the hospital physicians/surgeons/social worker. It has been a nightmare. No one answering a call light to take her to the restroom, she just had hip surgery and cannot/nor should be allowed to get herself to the bathroom, DIRTY never cleaned room(masks, dirt, gloves on the floor), COLD 2 day old food being re-served, medication not properly being given(meds that should be given in the AM with breakfast not being given until 2pm, bathing/cleanup only twice a week...the list goes on and on. Never send anyone there. I am filing a formal complaint with the state as well as their parent company. They should be shut down.

OT also includes cognitive retraining associated with ADLs and safety, energy conservation techniques, and sensory deficit compression techniques. Speech therapy evaluates, diagnoses and treats disorders of communication, cognition and language. Sometimes, swallow studies allow for objective assessment of the swallowing function.
Check with the center you are considering and ask them about pet policies. Some centers have pets on site or offer pet therapy that all of the residents can enjoy and interact with.
