Each and every staff member I interacted with was absolutely phenomenal. The level of care I received set a new standard. Big thanks to Megan, Trisha, Kim & Marie in L&D for taking care of me and my baby. And a special thanks to Brad in anesthesiology. He was quick and efficient and got me the juice right when I needed it. Seriously could not have asked for a better birth experience and it’s all thanks to the INCREDIBLE staff at Alaska Regional. From the bottom of our very full hearts, thank you.

Wasn't my first choice to take my mom here, but my dad eventually admitted her here and this is where she passed away after a long 4 month stay. Most doctors and nurses were pretty nice and welcoming, but there were those who did not have the same kind of energy/aura. For the first month or so everything was smooth, but as her stay extended we started seeing some very unusual and unfriendly action from staff members and doctors. Her medication changed ever so often, and her dosage in some medication were not given to her properly as the doctors recommended. Instead it was all given to her at once which raised many questions, nurses were not able to explain to us why it was done so, which upset many of us. There was a particular young male doctor that tried to push us out of the hospital that my brother in law eventually confronted. I really wished I had confronted that doctor as well at that time. I regret that I didn't, due to the emotions we we were all going through. I hope staff members and doctors who did us and my mother wrong knowingly, can live with that on their conscious for the rest of their lives. To some of them, it may just be a job, but to us they meant more. I'm sure they'd want all the best for their loved ones too, if they were ever admitted into this hospital. I hope the hospital continues to improve their staff and doctors training on hospitality and more. People are not lab rats and should not be treated like so !! I also hope that people who are admitted here will have better experience than we did for generations to come. I do thank the kindness and hospitality that many of the nurses and doctors did show though.

This was the third time staying at this hospital in the last 2 years. The first 2 times everything was excellent but this time I was in a tiny room that I feel used to be the janitors closet. Since it was on the east side of the building I felt I was in a greenhouse. Even with the blinds closed I got too hot. I didn’t get all of the food I requested even though my order was correct on my ticket. Luckily the nursing staff was still excellent and very friendly. All three times I had great care by the nurses and Arno matter which floor I was on.

I didn't have to wait long for my appointment. The physician was very thorough and I felt she listened to my concerns and reacted to them. I'm happy with the service so far. Tip: Sign up for MyChart. You receive your test results and get a detailed report of your appointment. I really like that. Also, I found the office and support staff efficient and professional.

Yes, they allowed me to be with my husband at ER, till he got a room.
Call your dr and ask.
I have always gone through my doctor with that. And the doctor would set it up. Hotels need a referral from your doc before they charge your medicaid.
Alaska Regional is a smoke free campus
Not vaccinated yet? So he doesn’t care about his health or anyone else’s. Why bother even seeing a doctor at all.
I'm sure they do. Talk to them at registration.
I'm thinking immediate family member only because of the the virus.
