A dream come true! Our Alaskan adventure was spectacular. From the moment we confirmed the RV rental with Great Alaskan Holidays, until we signed the drop-off paperwork, everything about this company was high class. We traveled over 1650 miles exploring the beautiful state of Alaska in our well-stocked, clean, and comfortable Minnie Winnie. What started as the "trip of a lifetime" has transformed into a "lifetime of trips", and only with Great Alaskan Holidays! Sarah and Steve

We rented an RV instead of taking a cruise while in Alaska, drove to Homer, Whittier, Girdwood, Seward and all over. This is a great way to see The Last Frontier and the wildlife. Tons of campgrounds everywhere that are dry camping and lots of full hook up places too. You'll meet the coolest people from all over the world and see some amazing sights like glaciers, rivers, mountains, trees, bears, moose, otters and wild Americans, lol. Gotta try it.

We just finished an amazing 8 night RV trip with 5 adults. This was a long time coming as we had to cancel the last two years due to the pandemic. The staff at Great Alaskan was incredibly flexible and gladly kept moving our reservation until the next summer. After rebooking a second time, and due to the late arrival of our flight from New York, we were offered the opportunity to stay in the RV the night before our actual reservation began. When we arrived after a long day, the RV was set up, the refrigerator was running and the furnace had been set in case the night became cool. The next morning after a quick orientation (Tip- complete the orientation video BEFORE you get there- it really speeds things up) we set out on our adventure. After getting to Seward, we realized the lid to the coffee pot was missing which made making coffee a bit tricky. On our way back through Anchorage, we stopped in and were quickly given a new coffee maker. The Minnie Winnie was beautiful and very comfortable for 5 adults. We were given plenty of linens and kitchen supplies. All we needed to do was add our food. It was also really easy to drive. Our return was seamless. One concern I had was that we ended up with non-perishables (Plates, cups, dish soap, etc) that we didn't use. I wasn't happy with the thought of throwing perfectly good items away. But along came ALLY who checked us in for our return. She found another family getting ready to head out and carried all our unused items to their RV. We were so impressed with her cheerful attitude and professionalism. We quickly checked out and were shuttled to the airport. An amazing experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend Great Alaskan Holidays!

Thank you for making our dream vacation possible! We rented a 25 foot C class forest river forester. We drove to Denali national park and made the best memories in our RV. Absolutely worth the price. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the shower was bigger than we expected!

We'll dump it for you upon return.
I'm sorry. Pick ups and returns are allowed in Anchorage only.
I'm sorry, no. We offer pick up and returns at our Anchorage facility only.
Hello, Jo Anne. Here are some road restrictions I pulled from our website. They should help you a bit. https://www.greatalaskanholidays.com/alaska-rv-rentals/important-rental-information/restrictions-on-operating-the-motorhome/ As you can see, the Denali Highway from Cantwell to Paxson is normally in good shape, but you should still be careful while on it. It's a beautiful drive. You may want to check with the State of Alaska Department of Transportation for road conditions when you arrive. There's no way of knowing now what they'll be like then. If you were referring to the actual parks road that takes you into Denali National Park, Gerard is correct. You can only go as far as Savage River before being turned around. Tour bus rides are the only vehicles allowed past that point during the summer months. But the tour rides are pretty awesome though, so you might want to consider doing that trip. There will be no snow issues in June, regardless of which road you're on.
Best To call see if Available ? It's Christmas Time !

Depends on the time of year and size or motor home. Their website has prices on it
No.... you only need to sweep the RV. They take care of the rest. They make the return super easy.
We had a 31 ft Mini Winnie with a GVWR of 14,500 pounds (5800 kilos).
Our RV rental had a 12 volt cig in the master bedroom. Master bed comes with bedding and towels. Need more? Request more for a small fee. Also, can request a Kuerig. Make sure to reserve ahead to save money. Generator is included and powers the outlets and microwave. Running the Kuerig requires running the generator.
Yes to both. They come ready to go. They have a list of optional gear too, even fishing gear and camping accessories. Full kitchen set basic bathroom gear including fresh towels based on two people to start.
We rented rods and reels from them. My brother considered bringing his fishing equipment, but the cost wasn't worth it.
We were in the Spring Adventure Package. Because we were getting on the train early the next morning, we made arrangements with GAH to check out the day before and then slept in our motorhome overnight on their grounds so we could catch a cab for our early train.
Yes, you can absolutely spend the first night in the RV and go through the orientation the next morning. It's a very common thing to do because a lot of planes arrive in Anchorage after the office closes. Everything is clearly explained as you go through the booking process online.
I do not believe that you are allowed to pull anything with the motorhomes.
