(This happened on April 22, 2022) The staff was incredibly caring and did their absolute best to guide me through the best plan of action. I soon realized there was nothing that could be done and Petey's quality of life would not be improving. It was their compassion, understanding, and expertise that helped me in making such a difficult decision, but I know it was the right one for Petey. My heart is broken, of course. Petey was a very special cat, a rarity, which is why even staff shed tears alongside me and my husband. It was comforting to know how much this team truly loved and cared for Petey. I miss him terribly; his gentlemanly ways, his big ol' mug of a head, his deformed ears and unusual thumbs. He chose me to be his person and the bond was strong. He let me know when he was ready, looking out for me to the end and even went out purring. It's just not the same around here without him, but I am grateful for all that the doctors and staff did for us.

Thankfully Winchester Dean and I have found a great office who when we need them are always accommodating to us. Winchester loves to stress out his Mama with his stomach issues so it's great to know I can call with a concern & or see them for an emergency appointment to make sure he's on the mend. I wouldn't trust him with anyone else. Thanks Dr. Soucy & Team!

All the vets are amazing with my dog. During covid they aren't allowing owners in, and my dog has gotten better at going in alone, she always comes out happy. Easy to make appointments, knowledgeable friendly staff, hours are great, prices are fair! *Update* during covid, my dog developed an extreme fear of going to VCA. It seems she associated the place with being hurt and taken away from me. However, since the restrictions have lessened, I am now allowed in with her. The vets have worked with us on how to help her overcome this fear and see it isn't such a bad place. Even through it all, Dr. Reicher has been Lunas favorite vet. Whenever she hears his voice she gets the wiggles. She smiles when she sees him and wants to instantly hug him. I wish I could personally give him a 10 star review. VCA has always been great to us, gets us in quickly when needed. But Dr. Reicher makes the experience so much better

These folks are so kind and courteous. Dr. Reiker, is a tall sweet man, who got in the floor with Lucy when we brought her in a while ago and patted and hung out with her while chatting with us about hounds and that he has a soft spot for hounds. Today he took care of Jack our cat and told us how healthy he looked well behaved and looks like a young cat not one who is like 14 years old. Would recommend VCA Laconia to anyone.
