The lake is in fact crystal clear! Plenty of room for parking and setting up your picnic blanket or tent. Grounds and beaches are well maintained Important to note though that the concession stand is CASH ONLY. So if you need any snacks, drinks, sweets or park merch you definitely want to have cash on hand.

I absolutely love Crystal Lake. I've been taking my kids up there every year for the last 6 years!! My dad lives not even a mile from lake. It's so beautiful and the fishing is great!!

Beautiful, small state park. The beach is maintained but you can still find some clams and/or shells. The facilities are nice and clean with changing areas separate from the bathroom stalls. Plenty of lawn space near beach with picnic tables and grills close by.

They had the park chained up and no trespassing signs.
No ....they are 2 separate places on same end of lake ....its a state beach and pageant park is a semi private place...either spot they charge you for use of beach
No, but you can still walk in. You just have to park on the main road and walk down to and around the gate. People walk in the park year round.
