Very nice historic inn in Burlington, VT. We were in the Champlain Lookout room. The space was very comfortable, not cramped. The bed was great. The bathroom larger than most. The tub/shower was a little funky, but operable. The breakfast was above average and the level of detail from the staff was unexpected. The garden and grounds are also nice. Our stay was quiet and most conducive to reading.

Absolutely loved the breakfasts! Prepared with care and creativity. The Inn is beautifully appointed and full of character. The sun room is bright, cheerful and offers a lovely view of the lake. I enjoyed meeting the owner and the concierge was very welcoming and pleasant. Conveniently located to downtown Burlington, it was easy to "walk off dinner." Highly recommend the Willard Street Inn for a peaceful, spotlessly clean lovely room -- bathrobes, wine goblets, fresh linens, white noise unit, wing chairs, tv, toilettes, hair dryer -- all the essentials for a great weekend. Oh, did I mention the DELICIOUS home-baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for us in our room?

The Willard street inn was a perfect stay from start to finish. Larry was welcoming and friendly and was so generous in accommodating our last minute change in travel plans. The inn itself is breathtaking in its historic charm and was impeccably decorated for the holidays. The rooms and common areas were beautiful and clean and the breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious. They also offered homemade chocolate chip cookies each day as well as an afternoon snack of our choosing which was such a sweet touch. The inn is a convenient walking distance from everything to do in Burlington and a short drive from the airport and train station. We cannot recommend it enough and look forward to our next stay!

The Willard Street is a wonderful place to stay. I booked several rooms for my family for a long weekend as a celebration of our daughter's graduation. My entire family fell in love with the place! The staff was friendly and welcoming. Rhianna was very helpful in making the arrangements and responsive to our needs, and Larry was a joy to talk to. Every room in which we were booked was beautifully appointed, spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts were magnificent! So delicious, and ingeniously presented. The inn itself is beautiful, with lovely gardens and cozy sitting areas. It's close to the downtown area but without the bustle. It was heaven on earth. My husband and I enjoyed it so much, we booked a long weekend for ourselves in October. We didn't think it was possible, but we enjoyed it even more the second time around! We highly recommend the Willard Street Inn and look forward to returning.

We walked there and back each day and night. Felt safe. Different routes are better than others. We walked up/down college street to where it intersected with the road the inn is on. It is much easier walking down than back up on the way home! Put in about 15k steps each day with all the walking around We did by the lake and at the marketplace.
