We purchased a new home from Prestige Homes Centers/Nobility Homes. Signed the contract in Jan 2021. Closed on the loans in May 2021.Our home was supposed to be delivered to our property October 2021.They started the permit application process with the city around Nov 2021. Additional surveys that they are charging to us have been needed due to them clearing the land without a permit. Our home has been completed and ready for delivery since at least Jan 2022. Mar 2022 they assigned us a different representative that works from their Ocala offices. This person told us we need to pay $18k more for material costs plus $11k for the land improvements and sign new contracts or they will sell our home to someone else.We have paid the $18k.April 2022 we were told that they never received our closing documents. We disagreed closing needed to be done again. The representative insisted it needed to be done and sent us blank documents. We were supposed to blindly sign. We refused until they were filled out properly. We went back and forth for about 10 days before his finance manager confirmed that these documents were signed with our finance company. We are watching the permit process via the city's website. I had to be the one to tell the manager at Prestige that the city wanted them to submit an application for another permit to clear the land.Jan 2022 they submitted that application permit. Only for the city to discover that the land had already been cleared without the permit. Later the manager informed me that the inspector wanted an arborist report. I’m told the report has been submitted since Feb 2022 & resubmitted Mar 2022. But still no viable permit as I write this complaint. We feel that Prestige is holding our home hostage. This company only makes excuses, argues with their customers and blames others for their mistakes. It has been over a year with no end in sight. Still no permits as our home sits on their lot in 2 pieces, unleveled with the elements getting to it.All we want is results even though we have no faith that this company can follow through with anything.

Before you buy, Check their BBB RATING D- . AND FOR GOOD REASON. They delivered a unfinished home with many issues. Sub-floor sags when walking across which runs full length of home. Carpet never stretched or kicked in properly, seams in doorways are clearly visible. Siding installed improperly entire home, all doors hung crooked and some the frame has been pulled apart to just name a few. doesn't return phone calls and if they tell you they will call you back.... don't hold your breath. Excuses after excuses seems like they are trying to run the one year warranty out. They have a systemic issue that they don't care about correcting. Sad the sales people know it's a issue but will promise what great homes they are but in reality they might as well be used homes. Update; contacted the FLDMV and had inspection with Nobility Homes on site. The siding was found to be installed incorrectly ( installed to tight) causing siding to bow and wave around entire house. The front door is hung crooked and top of door bows out when shut. Sliding glass door frame is bowed up in the middle not allowing door to shut properly. Carpet is missing padding in area of living room and carpet (cut to short) not meeting tac strip at corner. Sagging floor was noted by State inspector and Nobility Homes answer was the joist are on 24" center and is to be expected.... What ? I was never given the option of a sagging floor or a sturdy floor, didn't think I had to ask !!! ( FYI, the state FLDMV can only address structural issues and cosmetic issues i.e. quality of work they can not force them to correct.) Nobility Homes sent their manufacturer technicians (under paid handyman) out, same ones who have come out 5 times before and either didn't fix nothing or made it worse. Needless to say, they didn't fix nothing and created more issues. I contacted the FLDMV and he spoke with Nobility Homes and will send a crew back out. This is a company to stay clear of or it will cost you. Update, 4/2 Nobility Homes purchase through Prestige Homes is the most costly mistake of my life. Instead of using OSB/Plywood behind siding in front and back of home they use cardboard to cut costs. But they use OSB/Plywood on the ends cause this doesn't get siding until home is delivered and set up. I questioned Mr. Anderson aka LJ and he said they only use OSB on the ends or else the home would fold in lol, We bought the extended warranty at time of purchase but we will not be calling a company who doesn't care about the quality of their products or service to customers and thinks their "manufacturer service tech" title miraculously means they are experienced techs. Hiring a company to install OSB behind siding in front and back and to brace subflooring, I will be looking to provide free advertising for Prestige Homes and Nobility Homes every chance I get. Buyer "Beware", do your research on how your home is built and set on site. Run

We purchased a home from Prestige Homes in Auburndale, for my 70 year old, disabled Mother in law, sales staff was great! Getting the home set up and livable has been a nightmare!! Extremely poor customer service, the initial set up was by a vendor hired by Nobility. The crew that was doing the drywall and paint work was horrible and made a total of 5 trips to finally get it acceptable, the owner told me i would have to supervise his crew to get it done correctly! Taylor stated she would schedule a tech to make service repairs, took 4 weeks to get the tech there, large list of items, he was there for 3 1/2 hours, asked taylor in email when was there going to be a reschedule, no replies. I have emailed and called Terry Davidson repeatedly to no avail! Called and left message with President(Tom Trexler) he did return my call, said they are having problems getting help, blaming the way things are now alluding to covid, however looking at these reviews, this is an ongoing issue. Run from this company, wish we had read reviews prior to purchasing, shame on us.

Good luck! You'll need it. They are extremely slow to respond.
