My dogs LOVE banfield! They get so excited - it’s like they’re going to the dog park! The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they really take the time to answer all of my questions.

Such a caring & friendly staff! I took our new puppy for his wellness check and could not be happier for the warm welcome and treatment he received. I look forward to coming to this location in the future.

Me and my fiancé are heavily disappointed with how Banfield Pet Hospital in Fair Lakes treated our dog after suffering an accident at the grooming salon in PetSmart. Our dog had suffered a severe cut in his left rear paw by the groomer’s mistake and when he was sent to Banfield next door he was only given a very minor treatment to his wound. The doctor and nurses informed us that it was just a minor injury and placed a small bandage over his paw that came out after just one day. You will see in the picture provided the kind of bandage they put on my dog for the injury he had when they should have provided something much better (see pictures 1-2). What a joke. His paw was still bleeding so my fiancé took him to his primary pet hospital and the vet there made aware to us that his injury was not so minor in which there was a high risk of infection. Our dog’s doctor placed a much bigger bandage with a protective padding / shoe and provided medication to properly treat the wound (see pictures 3-4 for the big difference). I don’t blame Banfield Pet Hospital for what happened to our dog in the first place because that’s not on them but rather the fact that they misled us to believe that our dog’s condition wasn’t such a big deal when in fact it was and offered very poor treatment. On the day Banfield “treated” our dog, they told us to come back 2 weeks later to have him checked by the doctor again. Imagine if we had not followed our instincts to take him to his primary vet and waited for the two weeks to go back to Banfield, I’m sure our dog’s condition would have ended up far worse by that time. He most likely would have already had an infection by then and would have left us with a more serious problem. We had to do their job by properly treating our dog ourselves. You’d figure that PetSmart or Banfield would try to do everything possible to please and keep a customer but like most franchises they have failed to do so. I have lost my trust in Banfield Pet Hospital and cannot recommend this place to anyone. Don’t go here unless you want diploma mill vets caring for your pet.

Banfield Pet Hospital | Sep 2, 2020

You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Sep 2, 2020

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
