Looping boardwalk, ample parking, and cool boardwalk. The boardwalk trail has plenty of ss igna about local flora, is shades with some blinds to step on to. Few birds, but you can see some alligators and a plastic goose. The visitors centre is closed right now so may not be a restroom open.

Wildlife needs refuse. Go explore Merritt Island in first person to witness many critters who live peacefully protected in the area. Will definitely revisit in the future.

Yes, they definitely allow dogs. As far as the other wildlife being a danger to your pet, the paths are very wide and easily passable so as long as you have your dog on a leash, I really don't see any danger or concerns for you or your pet as long as you stay to the paths. Ticks and fleas are part of outdoors anywhere. However, I would definitely recommend bringing water and a bowl for your pet. I'm absolutely sure you both will have a wonderful time.
