I went to the Chop Shop on Manatee Ave this afternoon. I really liked the smell of fresh meat when I entered the meat shop. I purchased dinner from the deli. I purchased the ribs, shredded barbecue pork, and a whole roasted chicken. I also purchased green beans and scalloped potatoes. The total cost was 92.44. The cost was a little higher because I purchased extra shredded pork. I took the food home and my family enjoyed the meal. The shredded pork was fantastic! The chicken was very tasty! The ribs were just a tad bit too dry, but they were really good. The green beans were okay, and the scalloped potatoes were fantastic! I have not had a chance to enjoy anything else as of yet but I will return as everything looks fantastic. If you like barbecue I would highly recommend grabbing some and taking it home! Chop Shop is awesome! Anytime I am cooking something special, I get my meat from them. It is always top notch amd a good value for the quality. It is more expensive than one of the large grocers but it is also higher quality product. Especially when they have their sales or you get one of their Butcher boxes. I've bought tons of ribs and brisket to smoke from them and it is always great. Their shaved ribeye makes the best Philly cheesesteaks I have ever had. This time I got some beef short ribs and wagyu ribeye which they happily shaved for me for the hotpot we are making this weekend. I highly recommend the Chop Shop.

Visiting the area for the day, I stopped in to see about getting some Geirs lunch meats for a picnic with friends. The Geirs meat website said this was the closest to my local. Sadly all the Geirs meats here, were frozen. Boars head was the only deli meats they carry. Store was super clean and friendly. Lots of people all wearing masks and staying safe. Thanks anyways!!

They are a phenomenal store. I'd call them directly to get more of an idea on availability and prices.
I think thats a question for the butcher. It may depend on if it is a prime cut or not. Prime has more fat. Also bone in or not would make a difference in serving.
They have a wide variety of products you won't find in a regular, even large store like Whole Foods, Fresh Foods or Publix. I was very pleasantly surprised at their assortment

Fresh King Crab in FL. Nicole's been in the sun way too long. It's all pre-cooked (hence the color, and no, lobsters aren't red in the ocean either). Find the best price , it's all basically the same as long as it stayed frozen.
