We’ve been coming here for 2 years. We had two dogs. At first we loved coming here. I’d have rated them 5 stars. We even continued to come after we moved to a part of town farther away because of how much we trusted doctor Green (who is still great). However the reason for my negative review is because of the front desk. Honestly it seems like the two/three people up front are the most unprofessional and uncaring people. On multiple occasions they’re forgotten to get my dog while I’m waiting on a bench for over 30 minutes. I know they forgot because both times they actually told me this so I suppose I appreciate the honesty. Our last visit ended with me asking for my pets records so my wife and I could board my dogs and catch a flight. They said great I’ll get those to you in four hours…keep in mind sending our records are as simple as an email. I explained why I needed them sooner and within 30 minutes. So she proceeded to be hilariously unprofessional and argue with me on the phone. I finally hung up on her and called another location who said absolutely I’ll send them to you within 5 minutes and did so without arguing with a customer. Things like this have happened the last 8 times we’ve been (both dogs are still puppies so we have to go often). I hate leaving this review because the vet technician and doctors have always been great but these two specific members of the front desk staff have been so horrible that we canceled our membership.

We switched our pups to this location after having so many issues at the Regency location. Its a bit more of a drive, but the service we received was above and beyond. Our apartment complex keeps track of the vaccines for our pups and we got the alert from them last night that it had expired. I attempted to contact Regency but they shut their doors on Sunday's now. I reached out to this location and was told they could fit us in at 2 and that they would help us out. Dogs went for physicals, and got their shots. They called us asking if we would like the 3-in-1 pill for our pups. I explained that my big dog doesn't do well with the pill and won't eat it, while my little one has no issue with it. They listened and took that into account and gave me options. While when I told this to Regency I was ignored. We chose the best option for us and for our pets. While waiting for pick up, I talked it over with my husband and we decided that it would be for the best to move our pets to this location as the Regency one was no longer worth our time. This is our new home, a bit more of a drive but well worth it!

The staff here is so nice and helpful! My dog Izzy is always super anxious when we go out but she absolutely loves the vet here and always comes out super happy and excited after her visits. They have so many different plans and options to help make it more affordable and their online portal allows you to schedule everything from your home and sends you reminders to schedule appointments so you don’t have to worry about missing a vaccine or checkup. It also allows you to access your medical records anywhere from your phone!

In summary, I am absolutely thrilled that I have canceled my membership with Banfield. Last week the staff called me to schedule an appointment since my membership was ending soon. I scheduled the appointment, little did I know nothing was covered on my plan. The staff provided me miscommunication. This appointment was extremely inconvenient for me but wanted to come in since the staff told me I was able to update all of his shots before my plan was over. I was extremely frustrated with the rude front staff members. I received a phone call from the manager after leaving my dog there, after arriving home I had to turn right back around and pick up my dog. I will never step foot in a Banfield hospital again and will never ever recommend this business to a friend.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
