Most of the staff were awesome. Concidering the fact that the food came from the prison next door, it was rather tasty. Not one of my chapters in life but I have no ill memories when I think back on the shelter.

Were do i start they said it was the Center of Hope. They said it was a church before ANY thing! Lie the staff really does NOT focus on the people they focus on there selfs they interact with the staff MEMBERS they aren't into Helping anyone what soo ever!! The people there are super pumped for you to see an therapist are a Doctor whom does NOT know a damn thing!

There is supposed to be a lot of programs at The Salvation Army now but it's better to deal with them in person you gotta come in in the middle of the week and do an intake assessment and go from there If you have a job promise to you let them know that and just start working because they don't get you through their program quicker and there helped you get a place
Hi Frank! Unfortunately, we aren’t able to accept donations at the Ortiz location. We would be happy to receive them at one of the locations listed below: Our administrative & worship center at 10291 McGregor Blvd. Our thrift stores at: 4506 DelPrado Blvd S or 15418 S Tamiami Trail
The Salvation Army has programs that can assist in identifying housing, connecting with resources to get into housing and helping to prevent housing loss. Please call us at 239-334-3745 for more information or visit our outreach center at Edison & Fowler to meet with a case manager.
You need to go there first to see if they have any beds available or you can call. You can try the triage but you have to be referred by police or hospital just go to police station and tell them your homeless could they call the triage to see if they have any beds
I don't think they do
