Really fun to go on a day off and get lost in between the book selves. If you're looking for a specific book you probably won't find it. Recommend when you want to do something different and shift thru books till one catches your eye. Like a little treasure hunt.

Nice store definitely has plenty of books but definitely not the type I was looking for which was metaphysical books so just in case you're wondering they don't carry any. Also, if you have OCD this isn't the place for you or if you're claustrophobic. You are still mandated to wear a mask and over your nose. But other than that she was extremely nice and definitely have a ton of books.

Excellent selection of books. Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. Fun way to while away some time browsing the different sections of books. Great way to save money too!

I'm sorry, why did no one tell me about this place?! It's amazing! As someone who can't have enough books, this was a wonderful. It's a small space filled with books upon books...there's so many to choose from! They have tables near the front with sales, todays sales were 10 paperbacks (on the table) for $1 or 6 hardcovers (on the table) for $1. I walked away today (not expecting to spend anything, mind you) with 5 hardcover books for 86 cents....what a steal! I am absolutely going to be returning very often, I found a bunch of books I'd love to return and purchase. Highly recommend. So so kind inside as well.

Yes we are open. Hours are reduced due to covid - currently Tues thru Fri 12-4 and Sat 12-3
We don't buy books, we only offer store credit. I know of someone who does, but I believe he deals in nonfiction, like history, biography, etc. Sorry I couldn't be of assistance to you.
We ask customers to wear masks and social distance. We have free disposable masks for those who forget. So far we haven't had to limit customers as we don't usually have too many at a time. We also have hand sanitizer for our customers, and staff use as well. Plus we clean our desk, register and card machine, as well as the front door handles.
We offer credit for 1/4 of the price you paid for the book and total goes on a credit slip. Then when you purchase a book, half comes from credit, and you pay the other half plus tax.
You can bring them in to trade for other books. It is a great system.
We have quite a few chapter books, and some non-fiction and story hardcovers for younger children. Because we are a used bookstore, our supply is naturally limited, as we don't get a lot of "trade-ins." We have books for middle school-aged children, and a growing young adult area.
