I wish I could give zero stars. This place is absolutely deplorable.. If you're struggling with mental health PLEASE stay clear of this place. It's over crowded to the point where there are people sleeping on mattresses on the floor, it's dirty and the entire building smells awful. The food was actually depressing, I didn't eat anything except for bananas the whole time I was there. I watched my roommate take a couple bites of the food and start intensely vomiting right afterwards so I'm glad I didn't try it. The patients all had to band together and help eachother to the best of our abilities because the staff was extremely neglectful, disrespectful, and just over all useless and not helpful. I truly feel like I was treated like an animal during my stay and my heart aches for anyone who's really struggling and gets sent here. Ive never experienced something as hellish as this.. Every single staff member seemed to hate their job and they would take it out in the patients. I could write an entire novel based on my 3 day stay but I'll leave it at this. Do not come to this place. If you go to advent health waterman hospital do not tell them that you are suicidal, they partner with lifestream and will send you there against your own will.

The only good part of this place is Dr. Correa. But other thatn that....DO. NOT. GO. HERE. Let me briefly explain: I have worked in a number of healthcare facilities myself, both as a CNA and a dialysis technician, and this place is going to kill someone if they haven't already. -They do not push fluids. At all. -They do not have hot water for bathing. -They do not give you choices on meals...you get a to-go box of whatever they give you. Most of the meals were disgusting, colorless, suspicious. (I have IBS and one day, they had rice and beans. I could only eat the rice. Diets be damned.) -No smoking/vaping, and they do not give you a patch or antyhing. You might get some gum, depending if the nurse is nice or not. -I complained of having heart palpitations while I was there, they did nothing. -I asked if I was getting one of my medications, Lyrica, and they couldn't give me a straight answer. (I think they detoxed me off of it, since I can't take it with suboxone.) -They made me walk down the hall while I was in the deepest depths of my withdrawals...I have rheumatoid arhthrits and fibromyalgia, and a cane. They wouldn't let me have the cane to walk or even a wheelchair. I'm surprised I didn't pass out. -Also, no blood testing unless you ask for a vivitrol shot...forget HIV or HEPB or anything like that right? -I spotted earwigs, cockroaches and mosquitos in the unit. -I was in the waiting room for 9 hours, in and out of fitful sleep on the floor and chairs. Some people have been in there longer. I am deeply, deeply concerned for anyone that steps through those doors. I stay in touch with another patient I met there, and he said that they sent someone out with the same problem I had: heart palpitations. Dehydration, lack of electrolytes....not to mention just the morale in general. The staff look like they are spread very, very thin. This place is going to get someone killed. If you've made it this far, thank you so much for reading. I am not the type to leave reviews, I actually hate doing this, but I feel so strongly about this issue that I have to say something. Love, peace, joy, and healing to you <3

Nurses and staff very rude. Was never giving my meds from the va hospital which Was spent with me. Was combative with other residents without using other ways help someone with mental issues. People sleeping one floors outside of rooms. Very very disrespectful to veteran who serviced this county for 8 plus years. As a nurse today the state of Florida needs needs to step in and close this facility asap before someone is hurt badly from neglect of staff and their supervisors. If giving the choice Americans with mental health need to go someone where else for the treatments the state Florida says is legit. Don’t go here to get better they will make u worse.

IF ONLY 0 STARS COULD BE GIVEN, IT'S WARRANTED!!!! Worst location to send a loved one. This facility pays no mind to the updated intake paperwork a patient has COMPLETED if they're already in their system and staff gives an abnormal difficult time to just confirm basic information a full disclosure contact should have the ability to know for their peace of mind of simply their loved ones safety. This is the most unprofessional work space I have seen where the operators literally get ghetto with you arguing on the phone and refusing to transfer calls and hanging up multiple times because they want to be rude instead of compassionate like their job description likely notes. I sent various emails and requested to speak to a supervisor to have the call center staff hang up my call.

Discuss the problem with the oncologist to make sure it is not an issue or side effect of the treatment.
There are a few residential programs right now,but unfortunately they all have waiting list. I will be more than happy to assist you tomorrow when I'm in the office and can provide more information. My number is 3525519274. My name is latoya. I look forward to hearing from you.
You have to call the Centralized scheduling to set up an appointment. There are different locations for psychiatry appointments. Whether or not you are prescribed meds will be up to the doctor you see. But unless you are a danger to yourself or others, there is no reason you would not go home after the appointment. Typically medication management appointments are every 3 months unless you are scheduled to see a therapist on a more consistent basis.
