Stayed here from February Intill April and this place was honestly terrible. The staff don’t care about anything at All. The rooms and bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Mrs Fatima was the most evil person I’ve ever met always kicking people out for no reason with no care in the world. DO NOT COME HERE

I had the opportunity of residing at the Covenant House. I regret not staying until I turned 21. I would have had a lot of money saved and would've went back to school and finished. It has its pros and cons like any other shelter, but the help IS there. If you have a problem with following rules, then yeah, you're going to have issues there. But in regards to help; you're fed, you have a bed, you have a place to shower, you can do your laundry and transportation is given(BUS PASSES). You're able to take advantage of programs they offer for job training, counseling is there, guidance is there, saving help is there. Putting aside all of the cons, it is a good place for teens and young adults 18-21 with or without kids, I'd recommend you go here. Even if you don't get a bed right away, if it is available, they provide emergency stays. Food, Shower, somewhere to sleep for the night, bus pass if you need it. I'm speaking from experience. I highly recommend.

Would not recommend at all. They allow a lot of things to happen and they don’t respect people’s feelings enough because they feel like they worked there for 14 years or longer that they seen it all so they could care less until a big situation occur. NOW THEY ARE CLUELESS look for somewhere else to go. They building is falling apart, they are roaches in bugs in the babies sits and molding in all the bathrooms. There are so much more but we would be here all day.

No they don't they help who does right from wrong kids aren't bullied they discharge bad kids who do immature stuff
It's for young adults but they might be able to help you if your older. ( ages 18-21)
I would call and ask if you haven't already. There's also another shelter further down 50 by the 417 behind the bread store that has expressed concern over the food shortage. I take all my donations there
Yes call the number
If your under the age of 21 convenient house is the place if not go to the coalition for the homeless in downtown Orlando
All organizations must by law accept service dogs. They will request copy of the dogs paperwork to verify the dog is a certified service dog.
Let me put it this way, they will try their best. Assuming they haven't been hit too hard by the government funding cuts for non profits and non essential spending by the current white house administration, they might be able to. However, don't bet on it. I know covenant house was mentioned in a news story in the local paper about having their bed capacity cut from 40 to under 20 about a year and a half ago.
Call there office and speak to someone, but I believe you can donate any day
Yes you can
You "age out" at 21 but theoretically you can stay until then if youre doing your casework
Only new ones
Yes, for youth 18-20yrs old.
They will help as long as you show you really want the help try to get in now if u can the don't provide living assistance to anybody 21 and up
Yes not only do they provide you with housing three meals a day and they help you with bus passes and whatever else you need in order to get a job if you need interview clothes they'll help with that as well
Yes you are. There are cellphones rules. No talking after lights off that sorta thing but yes you can keep your phone on the inside.
No. Probably not. Maybe. But i think that's a question for the front desk
If she is 18-24 they'll help her find her own place but she is 18-20 she can live the when a room is available
Has to be 18
I am not sure if you can come in solely for a shower and a meal. However, you can get an emergency stay for one day or two. If I were you I would call and ask them. Their phone number is: 407.482.0404. Good luck.
Give them a call. 407-482-0404
Well, they are technically a "faith based" non profit which originally was focused on the goodness of god. However, covenant house tends to respect the religion/non religious preference of the client, as I will refer to them. However due to the various religions like Buddhism, Christianity, spiritualism, etc. Which believe in a specific entity separate, but with the likeness of God it can create a bizzare conflict of interest for some. Especially for atheists who do not believe in any god. But if you are going there to receive services, you kind of have to take your wins with your losses here.
They dont accept adults over the age of 21.
