Learning to sail with Julie Forbes, she is an amazing teacher. Just being at Sarasota Sailing Squadron I felt at peace and even though I was learning something completely new it was so peaceful just being on the water! So excited for more lessons and meeting more members!!!

Lovely informal but substantial pavilion to eat under if it rains. Pretty views especially at night of the lights- Ringling bridge, huge homes and condos on Longboat key, and yachts out on the water. Has a sizeable sandbar just a ways out from shore where it's fun to play and fish. And the ever fresh and delicious Old Salty Dog cafe a block up the quiet road. 2 very nice playgrounds for kids. Open field space to play also.

Yes you can. Storage fees are in addition to membership, but are very reasonable. I suggest you call the office or check the website for all current fees. You won't regret being a member!
