This is an amazing nonprofit. They are an advocacy and educational organization serving providers who serve people facing homelessness.

North Shore Alliance Church in North Fort Myers has a Blessing Closet, where we gather used clothing and other items (not toys, dishes or furniture) for use by lower income and homeless individuals. We ask that items be clean and in good shape. We have clothing for all ages and sizes. We are a small program, but we never sell anything. We also give away food and household items to people who live on the streets, (snacks, sanitary items, toothbrushes and paste etc). We give towels and blankets to people who need them. Hope this helps
If you like, I can add you to my email list and you will receive zoom meeting links to participate in our monthly meetings.
We are not a shelter. If you are in need of shelter please call 239-533-7996.
Sometimes accommodations can be made for pets by county outreach workers. The number to gain access to shelter is 239-533-7900, select option, 1,5 and 1 again.
Thank you for thinking of us but we do not accept clothing donations. We are not a shelter and do not provide direct services so storing clothing would be difficult. We do accept hygiene items and give these out to provider agencies for distribution. I would suggest you contact one of the shelters- the Salvation Army or Fort Myers Rescue Mission regarding your donation. Thank you.
Please have him call the Coordinated Entry number- 239-533-7996. I hope they will be able to help him.
