Just for clarity my rating has nothing to do with the staff here they are great as long as you're understanding with them. The nurses are busy and leave patients unattended for long periods of time but because there is an overflow of patients. We waited about 9 hours before she was seen by a dr. The hospital isn't the cleanest, there was urine on the floor that was not cleaned up, and trash on the floor of the room.

My husband had surgery April 1, 2022 at this hospital. I am extremely pleased with the care, service, kindness he received. Every staff member was pleasant and caring. They explained his procedure to both of us. I was with him while they prepped him for his surgery. I never had that opportunity before at any other hospital. From his intake to his discharge everyone was exemplary.

GCMC is one of the best hospital my family visited. Every single staff members in this facility are very knowledgeable and helpful. If you have a question, they go to every single details so you understand what is happening. The place is beautiful and clean. I know a lot of people were complaining about the wait time but Fort Myers is over populated and they take the life threatening case first which is understandable that’s is why there is a wait. In our situation we went to the ER and they said there was a 7 hour wait but when they took my husband’s heart rate which was 166 they took him right away. I’m so glad that we went to this Hospital who save my husband’s life. Thank you to all the staff!!!

It depends. The morning has no wait. Night is always worse, people start hurting themselves through the day and rooms get full.
I don't know. You may want to call and ask for their human resources dept .

Go to Leetran.com and you can get your route from there.
I have no idea on that question
Yesterday they announced over loud speaker anyone is ok to come but you may want to call ahead to be sure

Having both Medicare and Medicaid, you should not have much of a financial fee. If so it'll be something that you can easily pay. That's just from experience that I have had. Things are so different anymore that maybe you can find out through your insurance.
The cafeteria opens at 6:30 AM. I am not sure about the coffee shop.
In Southeast Florida there are several of them of particular note would be the Cleveland clinic which is in Weston near Miami. On the West Coast in Naples and the Fort Myers area all 3 of the major hospital systems which is Lee Memorial, NCH, a d Physicians Regional Are part of other medical schools rotations for various specialties as well as basic med school. My best recommendation would be to pick the area that you want to live then pick the biggest hospital and call their physicians relations and/or education/recruitment office.
We had very professional caring staff
Yes, in the emergency area in the front.
Unfortunately this would most likely not be the right place to ask that. This is information from local Google guides not from the hospital. I suggest giving them a quick call and I also think they provide wait time on their website
Yes when a company Buy an authorized adult to certain sections of the hospital. I suggest you call the hospital Main phone number and verify that this would be okay for the for the Department that you wish to visit. As a parent I would not recommend it as we are into the beginning of flu season
What are vtsting hours on sunday ?
It depends on the unit that you are visiting but in general it's 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. but I would call the department first to verify
You need to call their HR department and apply online.
I have no idea. Please call them.
Yes
If it's not an emergency go to a walk in clinic
Both
@Julia Markman- What is wrong with you? I think you need psychiatric help after asking a stupid question like that.
I don't work there but I know that they do because I have that insurance and I just had surgery there
If you have a PCP (general practitioner) you can ask him or her for a referral to a gyno.
