Great airport situated in an ideal location. Manned tower, highly skilled controllers and airport staff. I can personally attest to the professionalism and devotion to safe and expeditious service by the tower controllers. Great fuel prices and an aircraft maintenance shop with an excellent reputation. The FBO is large, clean and has plenty of seating in the main lobby. There's even a museum inside the building which I highly recommend. Definitely stop through if you get the chance!

Expect to spend between $2,000 and $5,000. Depends on the type of aircraft you train in and your progress. The FAA requires a minimum of 40 hours of flight time, but budget for 60. Also, try to push through training in one go. If you string it out, you end up taking 2 steps forward and one step back, relearning lessons and muscle memory because it had been so long between flights. Good luck and fly safe!
