They are definitely amazing in my book. They are extremely helpful, nice, caring,I like that they reach out to help people and never, ever give off any negative vibes. Warmth comes to mind. Right from the start they make you feel like your one of their own.

I worked in the ATT department for over a year. Management does not care about customer service, only sales. You are expected to offer on every call and if you don't you get written up. Management is very poor here. Favoritism plays a big part in trying to move up. Sales goal and commission changes every month. I've been cheated out of hundreds of dollars in potential pay. This place is only good as a short term job.

I'm going to tell it like it is... I was hired in October for a temp position that was supposed to go to the end of December. The trainers didn't know what they were doing and when we got to the production floor we just sat there and played games there weren't any calls so they said. My temp status was over in early December and then I went to the Sales side of it. It seemed great at first but they think it is acceptable to blast music while taking calls from customers. When I complained about it I was told this is the way Sykes is and basically that I had to deal with it. 100% unprofessional in many ways. Do not waste your time. I was warned and didn't listen. I was told to tell customers wrong information and my floor support even hung up on a customer. So many things are happening in this place and nothing is being done. This is not how a business needs to be run.

Still in first four weeks of training but so far the people have been nice many employees don't last long but it seems they didn't know what they signed up for. But Sykes does have the worst employee hiring process not to mention I haven't been paid for my work yet nor have I received a check it seems like management doesn't care at all but at least the people I personally work with are cool.

Warm greetings/ probing questions/ then offer/ end with a warm closing and always ask if there is anything else you can do for them.
If you’re not going to give me a helpful answer then don’t reply to my question. It’s that simple
Sales... Sales... SALES... it's a call center with a HIGH turn over rate. They handle AT&T. & Direct t.v. all at the same time.
There is orientation the 16th at 10am
Keep calling, or try to email them
There is no voicrmsil its just going busy been calling sine 6am
There is no one at the desk after 5, just security
I would be interested in sales! Does anyone know how much the salary is and what is the average commission is?
Definitely, guaranteed not to be a mon-fri thing. You'll work 1 of the 2 wkend days if not both. As far as medical considerations, they're relatively insensitive meaning you better be there for training or you will get written up within your first 30 days. I had explained to them of my ongoing doctor's appointments and severe anxiety. I had the WORST anxiety attack of my life working there, no exaggeration. I was hyperventilating, couldn't catch a breath, & was getting dizzy from the lack of oxygen. All within 60 seconds of it starting. I left & almost went straight to the ER but remembered I had obtainable meds. Next day, went back, not a single member of management asked me how I was doing. They knew a week prior to that I had just been hospitalized for my anxiety, missing a day of work. They put me on a final warning due to missed time of training. Straight to final.
