On Wednesday July 28th my beautiful furbaby AnnieMay reached the end of her long and wonderful life. I was afraid of her suffering and decided it was best to have her put to sleep. I reached out to Banfield Brea and told them the circumstances, and they were able to squeeze me in. From the moment I arrived, Noelle at the front desk was very understanding of my distraught state and took her time to help me to understand the process, and even was able to get someone to help AnnieMay be rolled in from the car outside. She was really the kind voice needed during a hard time. I was then helped by the nurse Ivonne, who had a lot of patience with me as tears rolled down my face and I explained the situation. She was gentle with AnnieMay, and I appreciated that. Dr. Lin was the veterinarian who then came in to do a quality of life exam on my sweet girl, and she could see the physical pain she was in. We discussed the options and although it pained me, the final decision was to put her to sleep. Both Dr. Lin & Ivonne allowed us a substantial amount of time to say our final goodbyes, and when the time came, I was allowed to hold my girl while she crossed the Rainbow 🌈 Bridge. She didn’t suffer and was in the best hands I could’ve ever had. To Noelle, Ivonne, and Dr. Lin, I appreciate you. Although it may not make sense, you saved my sweet sweet girl. You were every bit of professional and comforting. To anyone wondering if this is the place for you? This is your sign that it is! The level of care here is outstanding in all aspects. This is the place for you and your furry loved ones.

Our dog was ill and when we called Banfield they told us to bring him in right away. When we arrived, we noticed the names of so many dogs waiting to be seen, but the doctor saw our sick little guy within the hour. We are grateful for the excellent service Banfield Hospital has provided us throughout the years.

We've been taking our dogs there for over 10 years. They are top notch, from the Dr's to the receptionists. Always very friendly and patient with our questions. Highly recommended. We have the Wellness Plans for all of our dogs. The included vaccinations and twice a year comprehensive exams and teeth cleanings pay for themselves.

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
