I would not recommend this place for rescued, and labeled aggressive, pitbulls. I took my rescue, labeled aggressive, pitbull to be seen about a bump on back leg that I noticed about 30 minutes before going to visit this location. One of the workers said the bump would probably just go away after glancing at it from a distance, before we entered the building. I asked her to take a closer look. She repeated the same thing and said I can mention it once my dog is taken to be examined. I brought it up to the head examiner, she said she would give me some things for his bump. I used a first time free visit because I was not in the best position to pay anything that day. I told the head examiner that I am not in the position to pay anything that day. She quickly stopped all conversation with me and just walked away. She did not tell anybody else to finish me, so I was left standing there wondering what to do. I decided to ask another worker if she could finish checking me out. I, honestly, didn’t have much time to wait. We were on our way to a balloon release for a family passing. The worker had to go to the back to ask what she should do with me. When she came back, she checked me out and told me I was good to go. Other workers told me to give my dog a lot of treats and positive reinforcement to build his confidence. So, I am confused as to why it was so hard for me to get any information on what to do about the bump on my dog’s back leg. I left with no information, at all, on what to do about the hump on his back leg. I, also, had muzzle him, which I have never had to do at any other vet business. So, I am not confident in recommending this place to rescued, labeled aggressive, pitbulls. Although, I could have only received this experience because I was not in good position to pay and only wanted to use the free visit that day. So, I would take this into account, too. I gave 2 stars because there was one worker there who was nice enough to tell me to be big on positive reinforcement and treats to build my sweet boy’s confidence. I am very thankful for her advice because I was going to give up on the treats, since he ignores them when in high anxiety, until I went to professional training with him.

Be careful. They scamming you. I asked that if i can return the food as my dog don't want to eat it, they said yes, as long purchase from them. But when I have time and go back, they refuse it. They rep told me that banfield is not petsmart that can accept food if they r open. One rep said one thing, another rep said other thing. Twice i had experienced banfield reps that talk rude. Then I want to cancel their expensive wellness plan, the phone voicemail said :'due to covid we do not accept phone call. Every where is open now. So upset,

They were super amazing and so helpful I cannot thank them enough. Dr. Lin and nurse Diane answered all my questions and took great care of my cat. I normally take my pets to the Fullerton office but just a few days prior I had a horrible experience with one of their doctors and now my cat is suffering horrible side affects from a procedure done at that office. Let me clarify that the staff was beyond amazing at the Fullerton office it was just the doctor who was doing my cats procedure that screwed up royally. The Birch team listened to my concern and took immediate action where as the Fullerton office unfortunately did not. My cat is not out of the woods yet and still needs a lot more care but thanks to the Birch team I feel hopeful she will pull threw.

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including: • Vaccinations • Dental Care • Parasite Control • Nutritional Counseling • Behavioral Counseling • Comprehensive Examinations
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
