I made an appointment to give blood for the first time. Got to the mobile location climbed the stairs and no one was there waited and finally walked down the stairs. The Simeon from the car parked next to the van gets out of the car and goes in I follow her in she asks if I want to give blood and if I have an appointment. I tell her yes. She spends 5 minutes searching for a pen. Then tells me to have a seat. She continues looking for a pen. Her coworkers have come in (they were Also in the car) she finally gets my info. Hands me off to another person who starts to enter info into the computer. She takes my BP it’s high but the cuff was on wrong she adjusts it it’s even higher. She take my pulse. And informs me I can’t give blood. Remember it’s my first time giving blood. I had to wait I’ve been given a BP test twice my pulse was taken for over a minute. There is no consideration for a person donating blood. I felt like a price of meat that was worked over and then rejected. Save your self the frustration.

Don't give them your phone number or contact information! They will spam your email and call you incessantly. I donated through them once 9 years ago, yes 9 years ago, and they continue to barrage me with calls. This is despite my number being on the do not call list, reporting them multiple times for unauthorized calls and blocking multiple phone numbers that they use! Trust me, find another organization to donate blood with!

Very very helpful crew . At least 4 technicians were at my side since it was my first time. So much cranberry juice and food i had to stop them. Wouldnt let me leave for an hour because i had to drive home 😂 . Great experience , dont know if ill do it again though
