If you’re wanting low key, very friendly staff, and a beautiful Mountain Views then this is the perfect vacation spot to stay while you visit the North Carolina mountains,Blue Ridge Parkway, all the sites, trails, water falls, Gold and Emerald Mines, and so much more nearby!!! Trust me, you can’t go wrong staying here!

EXCELLENT LOCATION! Right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Home cooked Breakfast and Supper INCLUDED with your stay! Who does that?.... These guys, that's who! Beautiful views from our cottage overlooking the mountains & valleys. Nice Anniversary getaway for us. The staff even left an Anniversary card on the table for us at supper.... We will DEFINITELY be back!

Staff,food & view was outstanding. We already reserved another weekend visit here and look forward to the continued remodeling of the location! Best spot we have been to in years! The staff are great folks and makes the visit much more personalized. Dining room view while eating was excellent! Look forward to more stays here!

Very relaxing, the Owner and all employees are outstanding. Much upgrading and remodelling is being done - they really care about their guests. My dear wife and I had several long chats with the Owner and his employees..they are all very kind, sincere folks. Great food and views. We will definitely be back!!!

The Lodge actually fronts onto NC226A and the Parkway is across that road and through the woods. The Valley view is far superior. Very close access to the Parkway, however.
Yes you can eat there if you are not staying. Call to verify as you never know when terms change. In the winter I doubt restaurant is open.
They are closing this November/December to do some remodeling. But do call them to get information on if they can help you.
