On our way home from vacation, we stop for breakfast. Guess being the waffle house was at a rest stop (I guess you call it that).. it was small, the waitress that took care of us was awesome. Being that the kitchen and many cooks was in view, the way some of the cooks/managers spoke to each other in front of customers left a bad taste.

I went to this location on Sunday (17 July 2022) and a very nice man took our order. However, the women he was working with were being absolutely terrible to him. He was trying to call out what they needed to drop and he made a couple slight errors. It seemed like they had a grudge with him beincause they openly called him out trying to make him feel ashamed. He ended up wisperimg I shouldn't have to be treated like this and then left (Rightfully so too). I had a cash tip we planned on giving him but he was gone before we got to the car. I don't understand why he was being treated that way but I would have done the same thing. The fact that others could hear them was probably embarrassing. Right after he left they were openly saying that they were going to blame him for slow service and something else. The guy said he worked at a different location and I'm slow to right this but I hope someone sees this and he doesn't get reprimanded for leaving because honestly he needed to rather than get embarrassed in front of at least 7 or 8 customers.

I have been to and worked in multiple Waffle Houses all over the south, but this was the very worst experience I've ever had. The waitress didn't bring our drinks until we were almost done with our food, which by the way was wrong; she didn't bring it all out together, the waffle came out several minutes after the rest of the food because she apparently forgot it. On top of which, she went into the back as soon as our food was delivered and didn't return until she was told we were ready to leave. The entire staff was only courteous to the people who appeared to frequent the establishment, and they tried to sit my handicapped mother at the high bar not once, but twice. Seriously?

Went there and the food was awful. My T-bone Steak was greasy and my hash brown was very greasy. The manager that was ordering the staff behind the counter was putting his unstanitze hands on people's plates and picking things off the floor and touching customers plates as the cook was passing them to the waitress. I will not be returning to that Waffle House as much as I visit other Waffle Houses up and down the road being a Truck driver.
