We were really surprised at how great this little campground was. The hosts were super friendly and outgoing, everything was clean amd tidy. Full hookup pull through sites and very affordable. We were told that were two rules, don't be a jerk amd pick up your dog poo. We would absolutely stay here again . I gave 4 stars only because it is right off the road.

At $30 for a one night stop this was a good value. Unfortunately that was a year ago. Now it is $40. They did have several pull through sites and we did not have to unhook the car we were towing. Several other people pulled in for one night. The water cannotBe used without running it through two or three filters and you probably shouldn’t even hook up to it. We had plenty of water so we did not need to. We would stop there again for one night if in the area. The site we got did have 50 amp electric. Don’t expect much and you will not be disappointed. There is nothing else in the area except a KOA about 45 miles down the road and you know what they charge for a one night stop.

It worked for us, we visited friends. The park is for sale, owner is friendly. Definitely out buildings need help, water quality is poor.

We're on a cross country excursion with no true destination thus advance camping reservations were not made. Happy Camper had one small space available which is exactly what we needed. Very accommodating owner. Park has anything you would expect from a high dollar camp ground. Bath house has separate men and women shower/toilet facilities. Washer and dryer was unexpected. 30 & 50 amp service, direct sewer hook up, free wi-fi. What more would you expect for $25 a night? Weekly and monthly rates are economical. Yes! Please consider Happy Camper if you are in the area.
