Beautiful church but full of politics, petty fights among staff and between parishioners, most often instigated by the pastor. Go to St. Monica's Catholic Church in Santa Monica

A great church with a home feel. There is a lot of history here in terms of fame, but there is a LOT more history here when it comes to family and friends. What a wonderful church. Five stars? This gets ten. George Vreeland Hill

An interesting place for the Hollywood Actors that have passed away and had there funerals there. For example, Frank Sinatra had his funeral here and I would say all of the Hollywood, actors and actresses turned out for his last appearance. It was really something to see. When the front doors opened up after Frank's service was over, his casket was brought out threw the front doors of the church onto the waiting hearse that would take Frank Sinatra to his final resting place. The Beverly Hills Police had Santa Monica Blvd. closed on this mid morning, which is usually filled with cars going every which way. The movie stars and singing stars were there for Frank Sinatra's last performance, this was something special to see if you happened to be there as I was, across the street there is a parking lot for cars that would normally be filled with cars for shopping but the top level if you happened to be there, when the church doors opened up, that was the best place to be, front and center, over everybody's head thanks to the top level of the parking lot, which gave me a clear uninterrupted view that was going to be one special moment in time, that happens once in a lifetime, especially when we are talking about Frank Sinatra's final performance.......

I take offense to the previous e-mail stating that positive reviews of this house of worship are less than factual. Everyone is welcomed who has God in their hearts. If you have feelings of ill will; those are of your own belief and accord. I enjoy coming here and appreciate the atmosphere of cordiality and christian worship.
