I bought $75 of red oak from here a week ago and so far I’ve been disappointed. The wood that was given to me was nowhere near dry. I realize that we had a lot of rain recently, but the owner should have taken that into account before selling his product or at least given us a warning. I’ve had two fires so far and the red oak that I purchased just hisses the entire time without ever properly lighting.

YES!! It's a good thing places like this still exist. Love their pricing! Three different options to choose from in the area of 25, 40, and 60 dollars. The helpers in the yard or very knowledgeable, and we'll base their suggestions off of your specific needs. The fireplace wood they sell usually lasts at least four or five times longer than the pine that you buy at the supermarkets. Value! So it's worth it.

I paid $555 for a full cord of mixed wood. I paid $70 to have it delivered. I paid $60 to have it stacked. Plus $52 tax Total of $738 I paid top dollar for this cord of wood. Friendly customer service while ordering, prompt and on time delivery, friendly driver, good job stacking the wood. Good wood, no issues. However, I ordered a cord of wood and was delivered 91% of a cord. 168 inches long, 60 inches high and 20 inches deep. A cord of wood is 128 cubit feet by volume, I got 116 cubit feet. I phoned and spoke to Doug the owner and after much back and forth he offered to allow me to drive to the Valley and get as much wood as I wanted to make up the difference. When I said I paid to have it delivered and stacked, he said he did not think we were going to come to a satisfactory conclusion and asked to end the call. I agreed. Doug's argument was that he needed to cut the wood 20 inches versus 24 inches of a traditional cord. I'm OK with that, just make it up by making the row longer or higher. A simple fix. He disagreed.

I've been going here for 20 years or so. They have many types of wood, and are helpful loading it for you. Please tip though. LOVE THIS PLACE, THE BEST IN THE VALLEY FOR SURE!

You have to call. Sometimes they have it available in small quantities.
oak you are looking at 200 for 1/2 cord..360 cord...which is what you want for oak burns better without as much soot.. however if you are on a budget you can get Pine for around 250 a cord or a mixed cord for 300.. free delivery unless extreme travel time.
