Went mid morning and had the place to ourselves. It’s very quiet and peaceful, with some nice fall colors at the moment. The pond is covered in algae and looks pretty cool that way. Beautiful little spot.

Use to be a awsome place to fish. Went there all the time when I was little. It is sad to see how the dnr and state let's it go now with all the cat tails growing up all around it. But you wont see that happen with blairs valley lake because of the tourist's it attracts.
