Great place to stop for a beer after a good hike. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious. Love the outdoor seating and pet friendly area by the creek. Overall atmosphere is inviting. Would highly recommend as a go to spot when traveling through Lead or Deadwood. My only suggestion is they serve draft beer rather than just canned or bottled beer. 🍺

Great food, cool staff & great service! My brother was disappointed he couldn't ride the dumbwaiter, but he'll get over it. LOL. We'll be back!

We live the food at boars nest. Best burger in the area. That being said, the pricing coupled with the cash only is just getting a bit too much. Burger $12 Fries $5 Not sure what the cost of the soda was, but 3 of us each had a burger, fries, and soda and the total was $77. I know all about inflation and seasonal business, but I think they went a bit too far. Every business has to decide what their customer base will pay. Each customer has to decide what they will pay. I just wanted to let them know why we will limit our visits going forward.
