Excellent hiking with dogs off-leash. Beautiful views of San Pablo Bay and the San Francisco skyline. Miles of alternative paths with definite vertical challenges. Abundant parking with a rest room at the staging area. 4.7 miles on Wildcat Creek Trail to the Tilden Park parking lot.

Beautiful park with great views of SF, GG Bridge, Bay Bridge, and SF and San Pablo Bays. They have a large grove of eucalyptus trees on the hike, which smell amazing. I also saw 2 owls on my hike.

Plenty of parking at Alvarado park. Hiked the wildcat creek trail, Havey creek trail, San Pablo ridge trail, Belgium trail (7.2 miles). Started off at Alvarado park and went counter clockwise. Looking back, I would not recommend doing that as we had to cut through to the cattle farming area which seemed kind of off to me. Then towards the end, there were two steep peaks that we literally slid down just to make it down safely. Would not recommend. And you can definitely get the views going clockwise without all the hassle.

All my life that I’ve lived in the area, I had never gone on this trail for a hike before until last week. I had a great experience with friends. Saw some great views of the bay, encountered some cows, and met pleasant smiles from other hikers on the trail. It got a bit windy and there was a slight drizzle once we reached the top of the peak, but it was well worth it.

I ate lunch on the picnic tables in the front just a couple days ago saw people walking in the park. All had masks on
Yes, it is safe but for your peace of mind you might have your buddy walk with you. Day time is safe.
There's a flush one where the dance floor use to be in Alvarado and one those nice cement pit toilet at the parking lot
The main trail. It's at the old parking lot, where the pavement ends and the dirt begins. Wildcat canyon road. Unless you mean the one at Sibley.

Yes it is, the trails are well defined but there are many grassy areas not suitable for the dogs to run freely.
Yes, both restrooms and picnic areas
... do not know - too shallow, I think - ask a Park Ranger - try San Pablo Dam Reservoir...
This park is in Richmond off the Mcbryde exit.
