Was sent here for an urgent Pap smear trying to get in before my employer coverage ended and Pinole offices had no appointments available. Although the provider who did my pap was nice my grievance is with business. After my results came out abnormal I was reached out to weeks later even after I told them I no longer had coverage to do any follow ups with them after July 31 so I continued care with planned parenthood and I learned I had been hpv positive since 2018 but kaiser said NOTHING for 3 years! 1 colposcopy with planned parenthood later.. I learned I had progressed to having CIN 2. I’m glad I left to find a provider who cares about me understanding my results as kaiser can care less they hardly ever do a thorough review of your chart but are quick to bill for services not rendered (please review your chart after your visits you will be billed for screenings that were never talked about)!

Rude and not knowledgeable at COVID testing. “We no longer allow walk up Covid testing after one” takes a sharpie out, writes on a piece of hire paper, and tapes it up at 1:05. Also did not know the type of COVID test being taken, was taking mask off to eat candy with a cough… maybe not the best area for that.

I have been going to Kaiser for years, I am very disappointed to be writing this review. A recent visit to the Emergency Room has left me questioning whether I would ever go back to Richmond Kaiser again. The staff was rude, inpatient, it was uncomfortable, and it took me 4 hours to finally get a room. It was neither busy or empty but the sheer amount of time it took to get adequate care and support is something I don’t want again. Be vocal about your health and make yourself heard.

Would give zero stars if I could. I came for an in-person appointment after many years. Incredibly hands off system that pushes everything to a call center or the online platform which does not allow you to access the full range of care services advertised. People only choose Kaiser because they believe it is the best of many suboptimal choices. Staff are reluctant to assist in person and prefer to push everything to member services agents.

Call member services
Some Kaiser plans do offer dental insurance as a separate coverage. If you don't have that with your current plan, call Member Services and see if you qualify for this added coverage. I believe it is mainly for Senior Advantage and children. If you have a dental emergency and no dental insurance, there are dental plans in the community for people with low income or no insurance. Here's how to manage this issue. Call the department you wish to speak with, let them know what language you speak and ask for interpreter. They will have an interpreter on the line in less than 5 minutes, any language, anytime[
About 4 or 5 moderately long blocks. Low traffic except for the major intersection at the hospital. I honestly would recommend ordering a cab or uber just to make your life easier.
I believe so
