Amazing tour, the history in this location priceless

Don't miss this experience to time travel back to 1929 and the 30s! This is a great example back to the time of art deco. It is always referred to as the Casino on Avalon so, knowing it was never used as a casino, it was much easier to understand when I found out "casino" is an Italian word meaning "entertainment center." Up to 6,000 people came to dance the night away to big bands playing live. Also it was the first home of the talking movie. Go on the tour to drink in the beauty!

Exceptional in art and architecture. Paul, our tour guide, Island resident for 33 years. Was extremely personable and rich in information, answering all of our questions. This is offered as a part of Discover Catalina tour. You need to take up few ramps to get to the ball room. Has great history and architecture associated with it. Balcony of ball room has stunning views of island. Definitely worth the 22$ bucks.
