We had a great crossing to Avalon arriving at this port. The crossing was smooth and efficient! The port on Avalon does not have the facilities that the mainland one does, but it brings you out right in the heart of Avalon.

Catalina is phenomenal, if you go on your birthday its free with one admission adult. Lots of activities to do and lots of scenic routes. You will capture amazing photos and if your lucky you will be able to see some dolphins and possibly whales

Welcome to Avalon ! 🌴 It's time to party on the beach ! 🎉👙 if you've made it here. The boat ride is super awesome. Staff is cool but can be cranky if asked too many questions . 👩👮👱 Pick up and drop off is easy 🚕 Don't miss your boat be on time 🚢 Also don't lose your paper tickets that were issued . You will have to pay for another set of tickets .🎫 There is lockers and restrooms. 🚾 The water in the harbor so clear you can see the bright orange fish in the harbor . 🐠

This is the only transportation to Catalina Island, it is well worth it. Catalina is the most beautiful place
The Birthday promotion is no longer available, 1 round trip ticket for an adult is $75
From the pier there are some uphill stretches to get to the first set of shops, then it's mostly level to the storefronts along Ocean. Heading away from the water is definitely uphill. There are taxis easily available
