I first brought my cat here as a kitten last year and recently took her in again for her annual wellness checkup. She was seen by Dr. Swartzwelder both times. Dr. Swartzwelder is so fantastic and always answers my questions thoroughly during the visit. I can tell she is very passionate about her job, and whenever we talk she often recalls pet studies and other facts to be able to talk through all the concerns I have. The time to book an appointment at this clinic does require a bit of a wait, so for emergency care they direct you to OakVet — but for regular appointments and administering shots and medicine, I highly recommend VCA Bay Area! Thank you so much for taking care of my cat so well! She returns from the appointment super chill each time. I really appreciate the care that my pet has received here. ❤️

The clinic asked my phone number when they don’t have appointment available, and called me right away when there’s opening, and would still willing to see my dog when we couldn’t make it on time. I really appreciate their kindness

I have to give a huge shout out to Dr. Austin at VCA Bay Area! She is incredibly compassionate, thoughtful and genuine in her care for animals. While we had never met in person, she recognized my dog in a parking lot of a pet hospital and came up to my dog and pet her and asked how she was doing. Seeing that kind of compassion for my pet was the kindness I needed to make the difficult decisions ahead. After having to put my dog down, I received a handwritten note from her expressing her condolences. It means so much. Keep hiring doctors like her and I'll be a lifelong customer! Thank you Dr. Austin!

I take my rabbits here. They have been seen by Dr. Bynum, Dr. Arntz, and Dr. Austin who are all fantastic vets. I thought I'd take this time to highlight Dr. Austin in particular, who saved my rabbit Koda when he got diagnosed with Encephalitozoonosis. Koda's case was pretty bad - his head was tilted almost entirely upside down, he couldn't eat, couldn't drink, couldn't walk, got seizures at one point, and he would violently spin non-stop. It was painful seeing him like that, but I am SO grateful to Dr. Austin for not giving up on Koda. I researched the meds he was prescribed, and they are the best possible meds an E. cuniculi bunny can be on to give them the greatest shot at survival. And Dr. Austin was there for me too: I'd constantly text her questions, updates, worries, etc., and despite her busy schedule she would always get back to me and would respond with helpfulness and compassion. Maybe that's in part because she had her own E. cuniculi bunny so she knows what it's like first-hand. Suffice to say, after 6 months every single one of Koda's symptoms are gone. Now I know the nature of this disease means symptoms may come back at some point, but Dr. Austin has given me the knowledge and confidence to be able to tackle this if it ever returns. Thank you, Dr. Austin!!

I'm not sure, all I saw was cats and dogs, but if you call they will give advice... There's a clinic at rockridge that dose
Get the pet club package that includes all the vaccines. Pay so much a month depending on what package you get will determine what you'll be paying a month.
Sorry but I do not have that information. However, I can say I've had several pets euthanized at VCA Bay Area Animal Hospital and they were incredibly supportive and sensitive. Warm thoughts to you.
