My Mothers last five years were spent at the Assisted Living section of Valencia Terrace. She received wonderful care and her apartment was all that she needed. She was never at need for most everything she needed. When she ran low on something that they did not supply, and I had not noticed from my last visit, they would give me a call so that she would not go without. Housekeeping does a great job of keeping the rooms and general areas spotless. The staff is just great. Thank you for taking such good care of my Mom right up to and after her death.

My mom lived at Valencia Terrace for six years. And as her needs increased we found out that at some point we would have to move my mom. I posted a review a year ago but it has been taken down so I’m re-posting. The whole concept of assisted-living is good if you still don’t need that much help. Valencia Terrace is extremely beautiful and very friendly and has a lot to offer if you can still get around and manage yourself. When you start needing more help with bathing dressing and more and more help as you age this is where the problem comes in. Valencia Terrace is not able to help you when you get to the point where you need a lot of help and that became a problem. As my mom needed more help she got worse. There’s 20 residents to 1 caregiver so keep that in mind should your love one need care and more help in the future.There’s no staff monitoring them while they are eating in the dining room. So there is a great need for a lot more support once your loved one needs more supervision care and help. I removed my mom from Valencia Terrace a year ago because she needed more help and was unable to get it there at Valencia Terrace. So just keep that in mind…

Having the ability to be accommodated throughout each stage of life, at Valencia Terrace's one location, is a God-send! Mom has just moved from her beautiful apartment in 'Independent Living' to her, just as beautiful apartment in, 'Assisted Living'. The move went seamlessly because of the amazing staff! Their attention to detail and extreme passion for what they do creates an atmosphere of compassion and care. For the past four years Valencia Terrace has treated my Mom and I "above and beyond" all of our greatest expectations. What a wonderful place for Mom to call home. Thank you to Edgar, James, Nate, Debbie, the 'Front Desk Team', Dawn and the Assisted Living staff, Jennifer, Kat and Stephen for all your 'welcoming' responses to our 'many' requests! There are no words for how grateful we are to the staff and for the abundance of accommodations at Valencia Terrace!

My grandma moved in a few years ago and it’s been such a blessing to her and our family. She moved into a two bedroom/ two bath apartment since she downsized from her home in Northern California. At first she was so nervous to move from her home and there were some tears and fear, but now she talks about her friends and activities every time we talk. She is thriving more than ever and we can’t think Valencia Terrace enough. They have the best staff who truly care about their residents. The activities they offer are meaningful and you can just see how much the residents love it there. We highly recommend Valencia Terrace to anyone who is looking for their loved one!
