If I could give less than a star I would. This has nothing to do with the care given at this facility, my father never moved in. My experience is with the front end, which operates like a scam used car lot. I had 1 weekend to decide if this was the right fit for my father before their $1,000 off special was going to expire. I signed up, as my father does not have a lot of money, I wanted to make sure it would be affordable. Once he was evaluated they increased the cost almost $3k per month, we were on the hook. The kind, caring facility would re-evaluate after a couple months and see if the rate could be reduced. I decided on a smaller facility that was better suited for him, and was advised we would have to pay the full move in and first month of care, totaling almost $9k. I was extremely disappointed, but agreed to pay slightly less than half as we did originally commit. Since then we get letters threatening to send myself and a dying man with Alzheimer's to collections over the unpaid balance. Hopefully the care givers in the facility respect people more than the office staff. I would not recommend this facility if this was the last place on earth to care for a loved one.

We couldn't be more pleased with Brookdale Corona. Our sister has been living there for over a year now and we have never had a complaint - nothing but praises. The staff is so caring and nurturing, and always there to greet us and give us an update on our sister. In addition, the facility and the grounds are always clean, well maintained, and inviting. We have had bad experiences elsewhere - we have now found the best of the memory care communities by far!

I thank myself everyday for doing my homework in April of '18 and finding one of the best facilities and staff to take care a parent that needs 24 hour care---Thank you again Brookdale for peace of mind always.
