Wow π€©. Been there a few times to go see the best Doors cover Band Wild Child. I showed up late one time and the people in front still let me in (I did say I knew one of the band members) aka kit the legendβ¦..to have the best nights of my life. Wild Child performance was phenomenal and they played 3 encores and I got to meet the band members!!

Nothing better than seeing a show at the historical Whiskey A Go Go, wellβ¦.. unless you get to see your son performing with the awesome SOR House Band. Nothing is better than that! The line to get in went around the block but the employees and Security were great, they got through the line fairly quickly. There are some nice booths on the 1stΒ floor you can reserve, I believe they are around $400 and include a set amount of tickets and bottle service. We reserved seating on the second floor which was $75 and was next to the railing but was perfect because we had the best view of the stage. The booths downstairs are nice but when crowded the view is not so great since everyone is standing on the floor. There is a bar downstairs and one upstairs (the one upstairs opened a little later than the one on the 1stΒ floor). They do have finger type food you can order as well. We got our son potato skins and he enjoyed them, prices are decent for both food and drinks (again especially in the area). Overall the sound was pretty good, the band sounded amazing plus it is just an amazingly iconic venue. The staff was super cool and whether it was entering the venue, getting a drink, or a bite to eat they got through everything quickly (especially since it was very crowded). The show was fun and again it made it that much better being that we got to see these amazing young adults perform. If you have a chance to check out a show there, it is fun. Whiskey is large enough to have a nice show yet you feel intimate enough to enjoy without thousands of people.

I came here for the BMTH show. What an amazing experience! The bartender remembered my name and my drink order. The staff at the door was incredibly helpful and friendly. They require proof of vaccination.

Box office or maybe ask in the Rainbow Bar and Grill which is just up the road, if the Whisky is closed?
Only 2 stalls in the woman's bathroom...line gets long on a busy night, but always been clean when I've been there
My suggestion...I would call and ask first.
There is a 10buck parking in Chase bank - opposite to viper room.
Not sure, way before my time.
I think it depends on the night π
Approx 10 tables. No reservations needed except for special engagements
Capacity crowd is about 200 or 300. It feels like more when its packed.
All ages are welcome, I would not bring an infant or a small child due to how loud it can get.
This is a " music" venue NOT a strip club.
You can go to the show and when it ends go to the rainbow bar and grill after. Very fun
Last time I was there Group of 4 we got seated together.
They have a web site, and they answer the phone ,if sold out try stub hub or other site
You can pay for a ticket by itself for $30 which is standing room only, or seating (reserved tables) begins at $120 for two people and includes tickets. https://www.ticketweb.com/event/drowning-pool-beyond-retaliation-whisky-a-go-go-tickets/9705275?pl=wagg&REFID=clientsitewp
Yes there are tables, you don't have to pay any extra, but they are on a first come first serve basis. Depending on the band playing, some of the tables may be reserved. But, there are tables upstairs on the balcony and booths on the floor along the back wall opposite the stage. The admission price depends on who is playing but it's usually $10 to $20.
Did not ask for such service, but I believe so. Not sure of what they might have available, still, they must have something to devour... Just in case!
Sit in your chair that you go in.
Doors open according to what is going on. Times are listed. They have a small menu of bar fare.
They haven't scheduled 2025 yet.
Not anytime soon, they upgraded the lights and sound systems very recently, they here to stay
Yes, we had ours out and video tape too.
They are open everyweek with different acts
Personal favorite spot to park is just in their lot, its hot the cheapest, but security is cool and you can be close to your stuff. Other than that, there is limited street parking which is the cheapest.
This is an all-ages venue but 21 to drink with ID
Right behind the place (but across the street) is a $15 dollar parking lot that I always use. Just so you're not confused it NOT the side wjere the gas station is. However this parking is only good till midnight. Although that side (across the street too) has $30 parking. No worrying about coming out at a certain time. Parking is totally available and close by. I prefer paying the parking and NOT an uber. Depends on you and what your comfortable paying. Also consider if you'll be drinking. Safe times!
I just want to go inside and see it without going to a show. I will be on vacation there in April and as a fan if The Doors... Id like to go inside
I'm pretty sure it was named by Elmer Valentine, who knows why he left off the e, maybe because he drank Scotch whisky
No. You can enter with no ID. All that happens without ID is you don't get the stamp that says you can have alcohol, but other than that, you're fine. You can still have soda
The Doors used to be the house band here. Led Zeppelin and Alice Cooper would also play there at that time.
