In search for a late night bite we came across this unforeseen gem - not only serving yummy food (ask for buffalo blue chicken) but also delivering high end entertainment. Fantastic jazz!

Just the right size to make you feel like that ten piece group came to play jazz just for you and you personal friends. Every show is different and it’s even nice to see a few parents of young teens bringing them here to experience life and live music. The menu features a couple dozen Baked Potato entrees, with and without meats, they are filling, plus steaks and pastas. Of course great desserts. The well drinks, beers and wines are all affordable and there’s a full bar. What can I say, enjoy life, listen to some good music at one of Los Angeles’ iconic jazz venues.

Love this place, cool vibe, great music, various amazing musicians and an excellent outdoor patio. Over 20 variations on their Huge baked potatoes and fully stocked bar. Often see famous musicians hanging out to watch others play. Indoor space is like having a band play in your living room, very cool.

A lovely, cozy and intimate venue for amazing live jazz. I highly recommend reserving tickets ahead of time, and I recommend getting indoor seating. Inside, everything was a little pricey. The baked potato ($21) was pretty good but the drinks were underwhelming. The wines were mini bottles (187ml) instead of the half bottles (375ml). The other cocktails were just okay. Overall, however, the jazz was great! I’ll definitely go again just for the jazz and the ambiance, but not the drinks.

They are building it up to be more sound proof. It will reopen soon. It's TV monitors broadcasting a 5 camera shoot with pro mix engineer mixing the sound just for the patio. Most musicians hangout after the shows and you can mingle.
It's a jazz club.. no delivery of food, but daily delivery of excellent music.
The second show doesn't end until 1230 or 1AM, and I don't believe the kitchen serves after that, but it's a good question. I'll ask the next time I'm there, and edit this reply if needed.
Yes. Ticket to get in the club. You can eat anywhere.
Last time I went, yes. But it may have changed since the Mandate was lifted.
The doors open as early as 6PM, depending on whether the night's band is still sound checking. It's the earlier the better, as the club is small. If you have an advance ticket and you arrive 15 minutes prior to set start you should always get a seat. Be aware the 8PM set usually actually starts closer to 8:30. Do not expect to be able to buy tickets for the first set at the door as many shows sell out online first. Super popular acts often sell out the second set online as well.
When you purchased their ticket online you will get confirmation right away that you paid, then they will check before you enter the door.
Yes, they can do takeout.
Usually the crowd there is polite & well-mannered. I don't think you're gonna have people standing in front of you. It is quite a small place though & the tables are pretty close to each other.
We are not set up with anyone individually however we have had pick ups from delivery services.
Hi Kathleen, Seems I’ve answered this before recently, so forgive me if it’s redundant. Yes of course you can come in early and eat. Staying til 9, that will depend on the night and ticket sales. I would say yes on most nights you can come to eat and stay till let’s say 8:30 or so depending on the advance ticket sales. Hope that answered your question.
Yes

I believe they sell t shirts but I'm not sure if they ship them.
Thank you for your question! Yes your son may come! We are all ages! As mentioned above the only place he can not sit us at the bar. Advance tickets are recommended as many shows sell out. ID is checked for those who purchased advance tickets. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you and your son at the Baked Potato!
Hi, We replied to you email as well, goto the website where you got the webmaster email address and look under calendar to see the entire month of February. https://www.thebakedpotato.com/events-calendar/
No, tickets are for admission only, and there is a two drink minimum. Also, well worth the price no matter who is playing!
Looks like they played July 24th and July 25th.
Yes...saxophonist Jerry Vivino from the "Conan" show band is scheduled for August 15th...always a good show.
If you get there early enough you'll find parking along the boulevard. The area is safe no need to worry.
Still on just once a month, 2nd Monday of the month. Which is tonight!!
Advance tickets guarantee seating if you are there before 9.
All Ages!!! Only have to be 21 or older if you physically sit at the bar. Water, Coca Cola, Ginger Ale coffee plus more are all drinks you can have that count. Thank you! Come on down and see the amazing music and musicians at the Baked Potato.
Yes, as long as they have a parent and are not sitting at the bar and order food. I just had my son there couple weeks ago and he's only 13.
The place next door will let you park where it says "Tow Away". Iffy, but it worked out. Otherwise it sucks. But... It's The Baked Potato... TOTALLY worth it!!!
