Came here because my car AC broke. Great selection of fiction books, music and movies. Coi pond is a nice touch. Some parking under shade trees, and a nice park outside.

Nice library. When I had no access to computers I used to come here and use the computers which was a great help at the time. Nice cool place to check out a book and also got a coo pond inside. In addition to that they do passport services as well.

Yes, we have a Welcome Card that is available for new residents still getting established or we have a 1-month, 3-month or one year card for non-residents that you can purchase for a fee (differs depending on the length of card) so a few options!

The main library is closed on Thanksgiving day and the day after. We will reopen on Saturday at 10am. If you just need to print or use a computer our downtown branch at the Welwood Murray Memorial Library will be open on Friday at 10am, but it is a virtual branch only so we don't have any materials there only computers and access to.our online resources.

Yes, a 13 year old can get their own library card but a parent needs to be present to apply with them. You can call us for more details and to find out the type of ID you should bring; 760-322-7323. We are not open to the public yet but we hope to reopen soon. We can help you with your library card at the door.
