It's really mind blowing how optum only addresses the positive feedbacks as I read all the reviews. Not one of the reviews where patients have stressed their concerns or bad experiences. All I can say is wow my life is going to be in their hands.

I took my mother-in-law for an appointment to see a neurologist. We were told to call the office if we decided to start a new medication and to schedule an appointment. I called 2 days in a row and have been on hold close to an hour each time. I called first thing in the morning and right after the lunch hour. The answering machine is on a continuous loop stating that "... your call is important to us..." and that they will answer the call in the order received and that the staff will be with me as quickly as possible. This is ridiculous. They need a machine where messages can be left by the caller.

First visit under new Dr. appointment 9am. Got there 8:42am. Up elevator to 3rd floor room 304. The office was cold which I loved. 85year old grandma didn’t but that’s why I have her covered up. Reception 2 ladies were awesome. Waiting room empty. Got called on before 9am by a man. Super nice (sorry forgot names) checked weight / blood pressure/ temp. Was very helpful with my grandmother and speaks Spanish. Dr. Jessica (i think) knows Spanish as well. Answered all my questions and informed me on what the gel shots / cortisone/ and removal of liquid for knee. 85y old Grandma got cortisone today and some removal of liquid on left knee becuase it hurt just putting lotion on. Done and out by 9:42am when before it would take hours.
