I'm so thankful for Dr. Newman and his whole team at South Bay Plastic Surgeons! After searching and meeting with many surgeons, Dr. Newman stood out to me the most. He was very patient, caring, understanding, and was honest about the right surgery for me. My whole life I felt like I was trapped in the wrong body. I was unproportioned with stubborn fat I could NEVER get rid of around my lower stomach, back, and inner thighs. No matter how much I worked out and ate healthy, I could never achieve the body I wanted. Dr. Newman performed liposuction on my stomach, flanks, back, inner thighs, and gave me a BBL. I'm EXTREMELY happy with my results!!! My results turned out much better than I expected, and most importantly, it looks natural. I can honestly say I love my body now, and I feel so confident in my own skin. Thank you so much Dr. Newman!!

From the first consultation, I knew Dr. Jewell was the right doctor for my breast augmentation. I’m a long distance runner with a very rare genetic disorder called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome! She took the time and went over every detail with me on the first visit. She knew about EDS and how to properly handle patients with this type of syndrome, which was a shock to me because it’s very rare to find a doctor that knows about EDS. From consultation to surgery day, she and her amazing staff made me feel very comfortable! Especially when the anesthesiologist called me a few days prior to my surgery! With having EDS comes with a lot of surgeries, which means the anesthesiologist needs to be aware to help properly dose me during surgery. He made me feel so confident that this was going to be such a smooth and easy surgery and that it was! I’m extremely happy with my breast augmentation by Dr. Jewell and I highly recommend her to anyone looking into having this procedure! She changed my life for the better!!

Dr. Jewell is an absolute gem and a top-notch surgeon who truly cares about her patients, the process and results. I am so very pleased with my surgery and the follow up care that I received. I had a bilateral mastectomy in 2002 and my implants needed replacement and reconstruction. Dr. Jewell is a perfectionist and an artist. My results are quite beautiful and I feel much more confident about how my breasts look. I knew I was in competent hands after our first consultation. She has a friendly, loyal and welcoming staff and a well-managed professional office. She is on time for all appointments which is a rarity in the medical field. I highly recommend their private, surgical center as a much more comfortable option than the hospital for surgery.

We have begun scheduling procedures for June and July at our South Bay practice. If you're considering plastic surgery, you can call us to have a member of our team help you schedule your surgery.
Yes, we offer virtual consultations for many of the procedures we perform. You can request a consultation using the same online form on our website that we use for in-person consultations. Once we receive the request, we'll create your secure account in a patient portal and send paperwork that you can submit using the portal after it's completed. A smartphone, tablet, or computer equipped with a camera is needed for virtual consultations.
Pricing for all our procedures depends on the complexity and the amount of time. We charge $100 for the cosmetic consultation and once our surgeon examines you we can give you a quote. If you’re interested in scheduling or have additional questions you can contact us at 310-784-0644.
We partner with CareCredit® and Alphaeon, which both provide flexible monthly payment plans to make cosmetic treatments more accessible.
Yes, free and convenient parking is available in the lot surrounding our building.
Common treatment areas include the saddle bags (outer thighs), inner thighs, love handles (flanks), abdomen, and back, including the bra line. We also offer VASERlipo®, which can be used effectively on virtually any area of the body or face.
There is truthfully no such thing as a “typical” breast augmentation procedure, since each surgery is customized. To learn more about the pricing you can expect for your specific surgery, please contact us to schedule a consultation.
We offer a range of formulations from the JUVEDERM® and Restylane® product lines, along with RADIESSE® and Sculptra® Aesthetic.
CoolSculpting results generally last indefinitely as long as you are able to maintain a healthy lifestyle and stable weight.
A Mommy Makeover is a customizable combination of procedures. It often involves a tummy tuck, a breast enhancement procedure, and liposuction. The cost of the surgery depends on which procedures you choose to include. We’ll be able to provide more detailed information when you contact us and schedule a consultation.
The initial post-op period lasts about 2 weeks. If you can sit down at your job and it is not strenuous, you will likely be ready to go back at this time. You’ll need to avoid rigorous activities for about 6 weeks and get your surgeon’s clearance before resuming exercise.
