We go there to get on the jeep trail. The ride is a blast and the view at the end is well worth it.

We picked up a chicken picnic lunch on the way to the park. Got there around noon time, found table close to stream. Was so nice with the sound of water and birds around. Had a nice walk on one of many trails, until we heard thunder. Got back to car and packed up in the nick of time for more rain. Would definitely go back again. B) 2 Texas Gal's

You can walk in but gates are closed to camping..they was last week anyway
When I was there on Tuesday the picnic areas were open, but the gate to the camping spots was still closed.
There is plenty of open land
No- they do not have any utilities or year round rentals. It's on a day by day basis.
