I am a very long time, substantial depositor with Chase. They keep hounding me to consolidate all of my banking there, which would make me a much larger depositor. In trying to get my business, they brag about all of their service. Yet, they are no longer offering Safe Deposit Box services, even to existing customers. Not what I would consider to be a full service bank. I called them again today and my "Private Banker" was, at best, indifferent. That, combined with the recent difficulties in opening a new account and in getting in to actually see a banker (same day appointments are almost impossible - hats off to the one person at the main branch who WAS willing to help), make this the least customer oriented of the financial institutions that I patronize. If you are a large depositor, requiring good, traditional banking services, don't go there.
