This is a small, busy, authentic diner with absolutely delicious breakfast! It's a bit on the pricey side ($10 for a side of 2 large pancakes) but sometimes you just have to treat yourself and enjoy!

Grabbed brunch with a friend on a Sunday afternoon and we found it to be just okay. Initially, we were seated inside, but near the door and the spacing was far too tight so I asked for an outside table. We were placed back on the waitlist and was called for the outside table within 10 mins. It should be noted that while the hostess placed us back on the waitlist, when it was our turn to claim the table they did not text as they should have. I was close to the door at the toy store across the street and heard the hostess call our name. The food was just okay. Given the wait, and parking situation around there (it’s at 4th street in Berkeley) we won’t be back. In terms of accessibility, the indoor seating did not seem like it could accommodate a wheelchair, but the outdoor seating can.

Best breakfast I've had in the East Bay! The house made Chorizo is hot and sweet, so tasty. The souffle pancakes are inventive, fluffy and dangerously delicious. 🥞 🐖 🍳

A bustling diner on 4th street! Staff were attentive and friendly, service was fast, and the food was pretty good. If you're looking for a chill brunch/lunch place that's easy on the wallet, I'd recommend coming here. The soup & salad combo is great if you want something light and warm. It also comes with half a baguette + butter that you can have with the soup, but the small saltine crackers they gave were even better in my opinion. We had to wait around 20 minutes to be seated outside, but it was well worth it because the inside was absolutely packed.
