What a peaceful walking (or running or biking) trail surrounded by trees and animals. Keep an eye out for your small animals, there are coyotes!

The park has one table with benches. A workout fitness area. It also has a huge lawn with soccer goals set around. I believe it is a dog park also. The bike trail leads you to the Sunrise Recreation Park where they launch the tubes and rafts for rental. It also a nice spot to chill by the river after the biking or walking to get there

It's a very nice big park for everyone. We always have a great time riding our bikes there or just go for a walk. You can pretty much do everything there. You can go swimming, rafting, canoeing, biking, fishing, and more. It's our favorite park.

Trails and river access are well maintained . Bathrooms are fairly clean . Bannister park has free parking ansld an open field. Lots of people with their pets. Overall it's a great place to get out, walk and enjoy the riverside .Next time I'm bringing my bike, saw some great beginner trails!

Yes!! The bike trail starts here and goes to the Sunrise bridge. From there cross the river and you can go right towards Rancho Cordova or left towards Folsom. FYI .... The hill back up to the parking lot is a doozy. Free 3 hour parking.... But don't tell. It's a Fair Oaks hidden secret 😊
Yes. But it will be a 20 min walk to the water, or 4-5 mins by bike. There's a nice, usually not-so-busy bike trail there, that will take you to Sunrise bridge, where people usually fish for salmon.
Only 1 mile to the foot bridge at Sunrise Ave. From there you can take the bike trail to downtown or to Folsom lake.
