I needed 50+ Banker's Boxes full of old documents shredded. After being stood up by Shred-It for 2 weeks, I was desperate as I had a deadline I needed to reach. Carrie of Bay Shred was sure to handle everything for me right away and ensured I secured a date for pick up within 2 days of me calling! She was very helpful, communicative, and the driver called me 30 minutes before our timeslot just as was promised. The driver arrived on time and was honest with me when I'd miscounted the number of boxes that were being taken (it was actually less than I'd stated and any other place would have just let me believe they'd taken an extra couple boxes so they could charge more). I appreciated their seamless scheduling, outstanding customer service, and transparency. I will definitely be using their services again in the future should I need them.

Bay Shred has the best customer service I have ever experienced! Cassie was so lovely on the phone and helped me book my appointment. We had a window from 8am-10am and the gentleman was there at 8am sharp! He was so polite and made the process easy and care free. We had 20 boxes of legal documents to shred and he got it done in about 10-15 minutes! Thank you so much for your continuous support to our organization. If you are in need of a shredding company Bay Shred is who you should go to!

I can not believe how easy and stress free it was to have my papers shredded at my home. Carrie was so pleasant and professional to work with. The driver came on time and was professional as well. It only took about 10 minutes to complete. I will definitely be using Bay Shred again and will be recommending them to others.

How do you charge and how do you determine how much paper there is if it isn't in boxes?

Bay Shred | Sep 1, 2020
Bay Shred | Sep 1, 2020

Our price is based on the number of boxes you have. If your documents are stored in trash bags, bins, or even filing cabinets we are still able to calculate the number of boxes you have by using one of our 64-gallon bins as a “measuring cup”. Each 64-gallon bin holds approximately 7 standard sized banker boxes. At the end of the shred we simply count how many times we filled the bin and multiply by 7 to get an accurate box count.
