Thought to support a local shop instead of cheaper online sources. Big mistake. We went in thinking to get a size 7 for my daughter but were told that the 6.5 fits better. Okay, trust the local sales person and took the 6.5 home. My daughter put the shoes on at home and was in them for less than 5 minutes before complaining that they are too small. No big deal, just take them back to exchange? Not so here. The sales person gave me a hard time due to a some tiny scuff marks on the metal underneath and said that they consider them to be "worn" and therefore can't do anything. Seriously? I could have probably gone and slightly polished the metal again with a simple cloth to have them all shiny and not "worn". After arguments they exchanged them, but I have to say that with this kind of customer service there is really no reason to support a local shop if you can order online with free 2-way shipping and still save $ on top of that.
