It is a nice, easy and very relaxing trail. The trail is well maintained, wide, paved and good shades along the way. It is about 3 miles round trip, not steep (very much flat most of the way). It is very green considering the recent drought in California but somehow the trees are very green and healthy. Also there are so many wild berry bushes along the trail and make it more interesting. We saw couple coyotes from the distance but they are kind of shying away from us. I think by end of August to mid September there will be plenty of ripe black berries on this trail. We live in Southern California, otherwise we would come back here again in a month or so to enjoy those wild berries. Also there is some quarry mine at the end of the trail, not too sure what they are mining and if it is still actived.

Pretty nice views here. It was cold and windy when i went, the trails aren’t anything too steep.

Beautiful views 360 degree views of this peninsula from the peaks, lots of birds, racoons, native plants and trees to enjoy. Sorry but, no dogs to protect native wildlife. A few trails to try from easy to a moderate challenge. Please visit but, leave no trash behind, even better pick up some trash left behind and dispose of in a proper place. The animals do better without the garbage invading their habitat.

Elevated panoramic hiking trails with a small picnic area and restroom in the front. $6 parking fee. Very serene and tranquil with sparse landscape up top but the bottom is the exact opposite filled with tall trees and wide trails.

I concur with Suzanne
They have maps at the parking lot to help find the right trail. If you search for San Bruno mountain park Google will lead you straight to the maps.
I have been going there for years. There has only been three sighting in the last 7 years. I have only seen tracks once. That was two years ago
I've walked many times around the mountain and never saw even a trace of a boar.
