It's a great place. If you like nature and just want to take it easy. Close enough to go to Napa for some wine. Bring some back with you and have a little cheese and cracker and listen to the creek.

Nice hike but rough at top of trail. No phone service so medical emergency precaution advised for physical capabilities. Sign in at the bottom at the check in box just in case.

Staff is very friendly and nice. Even when our RV broke, one of the staff stayed in 105 degree heat to help us out. The creek is a saving grace since its very hot in this area. Food is good, pizza is a must but a little annoying the cafe has very limited hours. Low key campground which made it relaxing.

It's a nice area. Everyone was friendly and pointed us in trh right direction. My husband and I noticed it was the only part of the road that started to look green and it's well maintained. There's a pool we can use and other lounges. Friendly staff gave us a tour. We got one of the nicest spots possible and our dogs love it! We can hear the water running down stream and we can go for a walk. Lots of room in the RV spaces. Wifi works, water and electricity have given us no issue. Thank you Tim and Bell for getting us squared away!

The email report I read yesterday said at 5am they had to evacuate guest and personnel but the park so far was ok.
Two weeks at a time with two weeks in between
We just spent father's Day weekend there and. We couldn't get wifi at all Paypal wouldn't let us even pay for it. Kept disconnecting us
As I drove past the Canyon Creek near by City of Winters CA I could clearly see the air was clear. There was a thick smog like layer of smoke that seemed to be considerably East of the park. The current wind has been blowing the smoke in a direction away from the Park. That wind direction is expected to change however not so much that I wouldn't go. That and while the fire continues to burn progress has been reported. These current fires are on the west side of the Napa Valley some distances away. Lastly I do know of some power outrages in the City of Winters. Based on news reports I expect those power issues to be resolved soon If not already. Call the park directly I trust they will provide an accurate assessment.
Canyon Creek is for recreation only, so no long term. However our sister resort, Delta Shores does offer long-term. Call them at 1-916-777-5577.
Go to the gate into the campground, and push the button at the guard shack, and someone will be there shortly to help you. We have done that before. Not an issue. Enjoy!! 😄

Yes, but you can check out the campground for a weekend after hearing about the membership. It can be during bthe week to. I think it is 2 nights and 3 days they let you stay not as a member. They do have payment options on the membership. I wish i would have realized that sooner.
No breed or weight restrictions. Common sense rules, leashed and pick up after them.
Depends on the membership you bought. The most is $10 a night.
